This Makes Two

A diary of a mom written to her unborn baby boy about how life is when another surprise baby makes two.

Thursday, March 23

As I type this, Logan, you are hiccupping and thumping with each hic' in my belly. I am waiting to see if you give one final "I GIVE UP" thrash when you are done just like Molly used to do when she was in Mommy's belly.

While hiccups are terribly cute (and kind of fun!), they are terribly distracting while Mommy is trying to work!

Googled "Hiccups in the Womb:"

Pregnant women often report that their unborn babies get the hiccups. This may well be true. Many babies have the hiccups while in the womb. It feels like small rhythmic jerky movement in the tummy. This spasm of hiccups is usually short lived; however, trying a glass of juice like apple juice may help stop them faster. (From Robyn's Nest)

I'm now debating whether or not to try apple juice or to just let you hiccup yourself out.
